Gotland University no longer offers tuition support
scholarships to students in the Wind Power Project Management program.
All inquiries concerning financial assistance options must be directed to
Uppsala
University.
Additional Information: Gotland University
does not provide student internships, work-study
programs, part-time or related employment opportunities nor any other form of
student financial support for daily living expenses, textbooks, personal
insurance, housing or related costs.

Class year 2012-2013: Three full tuition scholarships were awarded in
May 2012.

SCHOLARSHIPS - General Information
Sweden: There are limited scholarship resources in Sweden to
assist foreign students, all of which must be investigated and applied for
strictly by direct communication between the individual student and the
particular scholarship agency.
(*) Please note Gotland University can take
no position in support of student applications to scholarships.
Swedish Institute:
An agency for typically over 500 scholarships an academic year, the Swedish Institute is also a major resource of general information on associated fees and living costs for foreign students. The starting place for general information is the Scholarships page, where students can begin the steps to determine their eligibility based on citizenship.

Important Reminders on Residence Permit (study visa):
Students applying for a residence permit must demonstrate to the
Swedish
Migration Board proof of a guaranteed sum of money at their
disposal throughout the entire period of your studies. The amount, SEK7,300, per
month for ten months of the year, is set by the Migration Board.
The residence permit fee (non-refundable) is SEK1,000. For more information

(*) Special information regarding living expenses in Sweden:
Students who wish to apply for any are strongly encouraged to ensure a source of separate funds for living expenses as early as possible. Scholarship applicants must consider their personal financial requirements carefully and make appropriate arrangement in advance. A signed statement of student financial self-support is a condition of study visa approval and scholarship award.
Summary
Interested students are highly encouraged to investigate scholarship options as soon as possible. Each scholarship plan is governed by separate rules, obligations and time limits for application. Students are responsible for all details pertaining to their personal application.
All students are encouraged to seek independent funding sufficient to cover
their personal expenses while studying in Sweden. Some of the above scholarships
cover living expenses in Sweden, but others do not.
