Exergy Economics combines, at the level of system components, thermodynamic evaluations based on an exergy analysis with economic principles, in order to provide the designer or operator of a system with information that is useful to the design and operation of a cost-effective system, but not obtainable by regular energy or exergy analysis and economic analysis. Open to graduate students and upper class undergraduates with basic knowledge of exergy analysis.
