This course introduces different technical aspects of a wind turbine. It considers the basics of wind turbines' construction and function, aerodynamics, electrical system and grid connection.

Since 1998 Gotland University has arranged courses on wind power (within Energy Technology) on a part-time distance learning basis and the first English course took place in 2004. The main part of the courses is also offered in Swedish.
