Using the skills from previous courses and course literature regarding the economics of the project and the project planning, each student makes a feasibility study for a wind power project. The wind power project assignment consists of the necessary steps in the development of a wind farm project.

Since 1998 Gotland University has arranged courses on wind power (within Energy Technology) on a part-time distance learning basis and the first English course took place in 2004. The main part of the courses is also offered in Swedish.
