Wind power - basic course gives you basic understanding of wind power, how does wind energy work, knowledge of wind resources, the permissions and environmental impacts, as well as economic calculations.
There will be at least two optional course meetings and field study visits each term.
Since 1998, Gotland University has started to offer a number of courses in the field of wind energy with a focus on wind turbine technology and wind farm planning. Most of the courses are offered both in English and Swedish.
