Wind Power Basics course gives you basic understanding of wind power, how does wind energy work, knowledge of wind resources, the permissions and environmental impacts, as well as economic calculations.
Since 1998, Gotland University has started to offer a number of courses in the field of wind energy with a focus on wind farm planning and wind power project development. Some of the courses are offered both in English and Swedish.
Read more about our education program of wind energy at http://www.hgo.se/energiteknik/150-hgo.html.There will be one optional course meeting in the autumn term on Gotland with study visits and lessons. The transport during the field trip will be paid by the university, though journey, ackommodation and food is paid by the student.
