What is Marketing and how does it function?
How to balance customers, competitors and your company in an ever changing environment? How to craft strategy, tactics and prepare a marketing plan? Ever heard of the 4P:s of marketing? Which "P" would you say is the most important?
Principles of Marketing is a basic, distance learning course in marketing, running for one full semester (20 weeks), based on self studies, one mandatory final exam and optional credit assignments.
There are many formats of distant learning courses, from "live" interactive sessions with video conferences to self-study courses with study support materials and optional e-mail contacts with fellow students and instructors. Principles of Marketing is the latter, a self study course with some study materials like slides and options to communicate with other students and instructors. This puts high demand on your study discipline, but at the same time offers you freedom to plan and execute your studies in accordance with your own agenda.
Basically it is a study guide to read a 736 page textbook on your own, with online support in the form of 20 optional quizzes and an assignment, followed by an exam. The course is originally designed for companies and entrepreneurs, with irregular working hours and locations. Welcome to the course!
