Reminder to new students:  English language distance courses are offered again, starting in the fall 2012 term. Applications are open until 16 April for the introductory courses, "Windpower Basics", and "Windpower Energy I".

Welcome to the Department of Energy Technology home page Our activities are mainly focused on wind power. We offer a master's (MSc) degree program on campus and bachelor level education courses by distance. We also offer custom designed executive education to industry, other universities in partnership or cooperative efforts, and to vocational education programs.

The departmental Center for Wind Power Utilization conducts research with particular focus of fluid mechanics, and also multi disciplinary issues related to wind power. Additionally, we are part of a Swedish network for wind power utilization, organized by the Swedish Energy Agency, where we are responsible for education and competence issues.

We are involved in a number of international projects and have partners in Europe and worldwide.
