Partner universities

Each year we welcome exchange students from all over the world. A same number of Gotland University students have an opportunity to travel to our partner universities.

It offers you as a student the possibility to broaden your area of study while simultaneously learning about the host country, making new friends and discovering more about yourself. A unique and possibly lifetime experience!

Both campus and distance students can participate in the exchange programmes. To be eligible for an exchange you must have studied at least one year at a Higher Education Institution and have the equivalent of 60 ECTS credits.

If you want to be accepted as an exchange student at Gotland University, you have to fulfil the following requirements:

  • meet the nomination and/or application deadline both at your university and the host university
  • make sure that you meet the described criteria for the selected courses
  • fill in the application form
  • have the Learning Agreement validated and signed by the head of your department and by the exchange coordinator as well
